There is a serious threat to the current cryptographic systems since quantum computers will be able to quickly solve the mathematical problems upon which most current key establishment methods are based. Existing encryption algorithms such as RSA will be instantly cracked with quantum computers. Moreover, one of the most important problems of encryption is the encryption speed. In addition, to use some types of quantum cryptography, companies need to change the architecture of their cybersecurity.
